We encourage you to use public transport, walk or ride down to ASB Waterfront Theatre from The Civic, Event Cinemas Queens Street, and Academy Cinemas.
Bus
Take the Red Bus Link loop down Queen Street to the Wynyard Quarter. There is a stop on Jellicoe St (red marker) which is a short walk from the theatre. More information at Auckland Transport.
The closest stop to the Wynyard Quarter is 185 Fanshawe Street. From here Wynyard Quarter is a 5-minute walk down Halsey Street. For information about Buses to surrounding areas visit Auckland Transport.
Walking from Britomart
From Britomart, Wynyard Quarter is a short 10-minute walk down Quay Street, on to Te Wero Island and across the new Wynyard Crossing bridge.
Ferry
From the main Ferry terminals, Wynyard Quarter is a short 10-minute walk down Quay Street, on to Te Wero Island and across the new Wynyard Crossing bridge. Visit the Fullers website for more information on Ferry schedules.
Parking
If you’re driving through Downtown Auckland, the Downtown Car Park is the most convenient - 31 Customs Street West. After you’ve parked, cross the air bridge at level 2 to get into the Viaduct and cross Te Wero bridge to get into the Wynyard Quarter.
Generally, there are around 2,500 car parks within approximately eleven minutes walk of the theatre. These are located around Wynyard Quarter, Auckland Viaduct and the CBD.

Hamer St Car Park (ASB)
These parks must be pre-booked through ASB Waterfront Theatre and are only available for evening and weekend screenings.
Jellicoe Street Car Park
The entrance is on the Corner of Beaumont and Jellicoe Streets. The first hour is free. From Monday to Saturday, subsequent hours are $6/hour for a maximum of four hours, and on Sundays subsequent hours are $2 for a maximum of four hours.
